Chair’s Corner

We gladly welcome your visit to this virtual home of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of San Carlos. We open our doors to you, eagerly providing information about the department. The department has undergone major and less perceptible, but equally important, changes over the past decade. Its physical infrastructure has changed so much; even most of its alumni may no longer recognize it in pictures. The curricular programs have undergone several revisions and a gradual yet steady development towards a more student-centered approach to learning is taking place. These changes will continue as we consciously and decisively accommodate the changing needs of the chemical engineering profession and the evolving culture of the student clientele. We thank you for spending time to click and read through the pages. This is what we are now. This is where we are now.
